The purpose of the Dental Therapy programme is to produce caring, knowledgeable, competent and skilful oral health care professionals. Dental therapy is a branch of dentistry that deals with prevention of common oral diseases and creating oral awareness in the community.
Dental technology encompass the technical side of dentistry, fabricating dental appliances for restorative purposes. We educate and train personnel who make up that part of the dental team with which clinicians may relate in the planning, design and fabrication of intra-oral and extra-oral appliances.
